This is a panoramic view of a vast glacial fjord Northeast of Seward, Alaska during the month of August. To comprehend the tremendous scale of this area, I placed a large NOAA ( National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration ) ship on the ice spotted waters of the fjord. The ice is the result of calving glaciers and the unusual color of the water is the result of glacial runoff which has a distinct milky turquoise color. The NOAA ship was found docked at Seward. Size- 15-1/2" X 43"
