Artist Biography Tim Bruce

North Carolina artist Tim Bruce is a meticulous, sensitive painter and sculptor. He strives to bring an emotional experience to the viewer through the use of color, composition and subject matter. Tim's ability to capture the personality and mood of his subjects as if it's our very own memory frozen in time has made him a household name. It is this commitment that has resulted in the extraordinary success of this inventive southeastern artist.

Tim is a native of North Carolina and in 1977 he graduated with honors from the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. He is the recipient of numerous national illustration awards including the prestigious Society of Illustrator Award, the New York Art Directors Club, the Graphic Design USA and the International Graphics Award. Tim's original paintings, signed and numbered limited edition prints, Gicleés and sculptures are a part of many private and corporate collections throughout the United States; Many of his limited edition prints are now sold out and demand great interest on the secondary market.
